Katherine Trumble is the President and CEO of the San Antonio Botanical Garden, leading the 38-acre living museum in conservation, education, and community engagement. With a career rooted in San Antonio’s cultural institutions—including key development roles at the McNay and Briscoe art museums—she joined the Botanical Garden in 2017, advancing through leadership positions before becoming CEO. Trumble has spearheaded ambitious initiatives such as a statewide seed bank and a master plan focusing on plant conservation and accessibility, positioning the garden as a statewide leader. Her strategic vision and commitment to public programming have been central to the garden’s growth and its mission to enrich lives through plants and nature.
